Tulsa Town Tolers and Decorative Painters’ Chapter was established on January 4, 1973, three months after the National Society of Decorative Painters was organized and was affiliated that same year.
We are a very active chapter and perhaps one reason for our group being so alive and working is because we are one of the founding chapters. Priscilla Hauser of Tulsa had the original idea to start a group for decorative painters in 1972 and from the very beginning the idea caught on and has grown steadily in membership, now totaling over 22,000 on the national level. You must be a member of the Society of Decorative Painters to join the Tulsa Town Tolers as we are an affiliated member. Our membership is growing and we have members from Northeastern Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Virginia. We meet at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8613 East 93rd St. S., Tulsa, Oklahoma, usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Some months are excluded; refer to our calendar for exact dates and times.
Our monthly meetings include informative programs, painting sessions, fun art exchanges, art auctions and so much more. We have an annual painting retreat and we offer seminars featuring some of the best national and international artists and teachers in the world.
You are cordially invited to join Tulsa Town Tolers & Decorative Painters and the Society of Decorative Painters. For membership applications, please refer to MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS by using the navigation links on the left side of this page.
